The cooling system should be completely flushed and refilled about every 24 months. The level, condition, and concentration of coolant should be checked. (A 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water is usually recommended.)

Never remove the radiator cap until the engine has thoroughly cooled. The tightness and condition of drive belts, clamps and hoses should be checked by a pro.

Change your oil and oil filter as specified in your manual, or more often (every 3,000 miles) if you make frequent short jaunts, extended trips with lots of luggage or tow a trailer.

The customer service is awesome. I went in for a 2nd opinion on state inspection results, not only did they take a look but they explained to me what they thought was going on, referred me back to the dealer and all this advice was free - I was willing to pay for analysis. These guys are terrific. My father has always gone to Sack's Shell and I recently moved back into the area and needed repair to my VW Passat. After speaking to Fred on a Saturday afternoon regarding road noise coming from the front of the car, he thought he knew the issue (alignment) and offered to take it in at 8am on Monday.
